Medical & AI notice
Use this bank for learning, with its limits in view.
Education only
FreeUSMLE provides educational practice for medical students, graduates and professionals. It does not provide patient-specific medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or an emergency response service. It does not create a clinician–patient relationship.
Do not make a real patient-care decision from an answer here. Use qualified clinical supervision and current authoritative sources. For an urgent medical concern, contact the appropriate local emergency or clinical service.
AI-assisted material
AI tools help extract and format supplied material and create or revise explanations and original practice. AI-written teaching is labeled separately from supplied source explanations. AI review is not clinician certification or proof of authenticity.
AI output can omit important details, misread a figure, explain an incorrect key convincingly or reflect outdated guidance. Compare rationales against the actual stem and choices and current primary guidance. An original source key can itself be disputed or outdated; retaining it does not mean we endorse it for clinical care.
Sources, figures and scoring
Source text, figures and explanations can be incomplete, clipped or unclear. We preserve available provenance and flag identified defects rather than invent missing material. Questions with unresolved keys or essential missing context may be excluded from scored practice.
Not every source is an authenticated official examination. Compiler annotations, selected answers or screenshots do not by themselves establish a correct grading key. See the source notes attached to each item and the content policy.
No score or coverage guarantee
Practice accuracy, weakness rankings, retention labels and question plans are learning aids. They do not predict a USMLE score, certify competence or guarantee passing. Repeated or similar questions can raise practice accuracy without demonstrating independent mastery.
Question counts do not establish unique clinical coverage. A seven-day plan cannot guarantee that every exam topic will be covered or retained. Step 3 also requires interactive CCS skills and official exam preparation beyond multiple-choice practice.
Independence and corrections
FreeUSMLE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or an official product of USMLE, NBME, FSMB or any examination provider named in source references. Names and marks identify their respective organizations and sources.
To report an error, include the question identifier, the issue and a supporting source when possible: openmedicalprep@gmail.com. Do not include confidential examination material or patient information.
This cloud edition provides available question text, explanations, source references and reviewed essential figures. Full source PDF downloads and original page scans are not hosted. This access limit does not establish publication rights or remove the need to assess source authenticity.
